Racing and Training Groups
Alpine racing and competitions in Funäsdalen. Funäsdalsberget is known for its alpine competitions, both nationally and internationally. In November 2009, Funäsdalsberget hosted the European Cup in women's giant slalom, and the slopes were described as "the best in Northern Europe".
Alpine teams from all over the world return to Funäsdalsberget every year for training camps and to get in shape for upcoming competitions. The slopes are highly appreciated - good preparation, glide and width with challenging drop height for both technique and speed training.
Funäsdalsberget is constantly developing its position as a leading venue for major national and international alpine competitions.
In 2010, Pinnens ski school moved its operations to Funäsdalsberget. Pinnens ski school is one of Sweden's most prestigious ski schools with a special focus on competitive skiing. It brings together Sweden's best alpine skiers and promising young talents who want to develop their skiing.
