T\u00e4nndalen<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t

The T\u00e4nndalen ski area is 800 meters above sea level and the high location offers very varied skiing with magnificent mountain views above the tree line, well-piste slopes and challenging forest skiing. In T\u00e4nndalen you will also find two snowparks and a free skiing area that is suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

T\u00e4nndalen - Skiing at over 1000m above sea level.<\/h4>\n

About 20 minutes from Fun\u00e4s Ski Lodge<\/a>, almost due west is T\u00e4nndalen.<\/p>\n

T\u00e4nndalen offers a characteristic Swedish mountain village complete with a number of restaurants, bars, shops and sports shops. Common to all T\u00e4nndalen's restaurants is the high quality, locally produced ingredients and inspiration from the mountain's taste tradition. There is a local grocery store, of course, as well as warming huts and lunch restaurants.<\/p>\n

You can easily get here by ski buses<\/a> and use your mountain pass<\/a> for smooth and comfortable transportation directly to the slopes.<\/p>\n

Skiing in T\u00e4nndalen<\/h4>\n

T\u00e4nndalen is really a place for real skiers, here there is often more than five meters of fresh snow every year which makes. T\u00e4nndalen attractive for enthusiasts. In T\u00e4nndalen there are 60 peaks over 1000m and enormous opportunities for summit touring and ski touring. There is plenty of lift-borne off-piste and a large number of mountain peaks in the immediate area to explore during a day trip. With magnificent scenery, a good drop and challenging slopes, T\u00e4nndalen offers one of Sweden's most underrated ski touring paradises. In T\u00e4nndalen's ski area there are a total of 54 slopes and 17 lifts, including a four-chair lift. The longest run is 1600 meters.<\/p>\n

T\u00e4nndalen is child-friendly down to the smallest detail and there are 3 nice children's areas with fun and easy slopes that suit the whole family. For the very youngest there is the Snow Club with babysitting, ski play and snow bus. As part of Fun\u00e4sdalen, you can buy a lift pass for as many as 6 ski areas, all within a short distance of Fun\u00e4s Ski Lodge. Cross-country skiing in T\u00e4nndalen<\/h4>\n

For those who love cross-country skiing<\/a> there are over 300km of well-groomed cross-country trails and another 450km of groomed trails. T\u00e4nndalen connects to Nordic Ski Center<\/a>, a huge system of world-class cross-country trails that run through valleys and high mountain terrain throughout Fun\u00e4sdalen. The entire trail system is well signposted to help you find your way and you will find both maps and rest huts at regular intervals.<\/p>\n

MTB cycling in T\u00e4nndalen<\/h4>\n

Cycling rings<\/a> in T\u00e4nndalen is well developed with both trail cycling and downhill of varying difficulty. What the trails have in common is that they are cycled wholly or partly on the high mountains above the treetops. T\u00e4nndalen's downhill trails have flowing curves and lovely gradients that suit the whole cycling family. There is also a modern technical area to develop cornering, jumping and technique.<\/p>\n

The nature in T\u00e4nndalen is suitable for all hikers regardless of previous experience and knowledge.
