Funäs Ski Lodge has a ski-in/ski-out location with the Röstbergsliften lift, on Funäsdalsberget as its nearest neighbor. Funäsdalsberget is the highest mountain in one of six ski areas in Funäsfjällen. The areas are among the most snow-sure in Sweden. It snows about five meters in a normal season.
Funäsdalsberget: A winter paradise for everyone
The availability of snow combined with wide, well-groomed slopes with varying gradients has made Funäsdalsberget a popular training and competition area for both national and international alpine teams.
The mountain also offers hard-to-beat off-piste - the constant fresh snow gives a special feeling in the skiing - for those with strong leg muscles.
In addition to action-packed activities that get the adrenaline pumping, there are also over 300 km of well-prepared cross-country ski track. For those who want to experience beautiful nature, influence the intensity yourself and take wonderful breaks at rest areas to fully feel the experience. Cross-country skiing is a perfect complement to downhill skiing and for those looking for cross-country skiing only, there are many experiences to explore.
