Find your way to Funäsdalen

Funäsdalen is located in the heart of the Swedish mountains, and is a perfect destination for both summer and winter adventures. Here you will find directions to easily plan your trip to our scenic village.

By train

The nearest train station is in Östersund. From there, you can take a bus or rent a car to drive the last bit to Funäsdalen. Trains run regularly from major cities such as Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö to Östersund.

By bus

Bus connections to Funäsdalen are available from several cities in Sweden. Länstrafiken i Jämtland och Härjedalen offers direct buses from Östersund and other nearby towns.

By air

Röros Airport is the closest airport to Funäsfjällen, with scheduled flights to and from Oslo every day. During the winter season (February 3 - April 24), there are weekly charter flights from Stockholm, the trip takes about 80 minutes and costs only SEK 1,995 round trip. Alternatively, you can use Åre Östersund Airport. From the airport you can rent a car or take a bus to Funäsdalen. There are regular flights from Stockholm and other major cities in Sweden.

Parking facilities

We at Funäs Ski Lodge offers private parking for our visitors. Short-term and long-term parking is also available in the village, and many of the area's attractions have their own parking lots for guests.
